Jeff,
When you say "I copied the script from another site" do you mean you viewed
the source and literally copied it? If so I would advise against this method
of
collecting JavaScript, not always but often JavaScripts call other scripts h
eld
on the server and unlike HTML don't always work when simple copied and paste
d
into a new document.
There are however lots of very good JavaScript repositories on the web, they
will include the full code, a description of what it does and usually a
tutorial on how best to impliment them.
As for Flash's built in plugin checker, to be honest I've not used it so can
't
comment either way, as far as I know it's a preference in the publish settin
gs.
Give it a go and give us some feedback.
You'll probably want links to the JavaScript repositories I mentioned, well
I
googled "JavaScript repositories" and found http://www.ozoneasylum.com/5043
on
a forum, it's a starting point for you.
Hope this all helps.
