Who cares?! This forum is about WebDevelopment and or WebTechnology, why
do you want to be political here? Fergeta 'bout it...

Actually, this forum covers a range of topics that are CENTERED on
WebDevlopment or WebTechnology. It's supposed to focus on Dreamweaver,
but many people ask about PHP here.
OT means "off topic." There are lots of "off topic" posts here, and many
of them focus on search engines, advertising, etc. Obviously, I care
about it, even if you don't.

Sure, eventually with all the noise, the worthiness of any newsgroup
disappears under the noise to signal ratio. I've pretty much given up on
this newsgroup/forum. There are better ones, so don't let me stop you...
Including an OT hardly excuses one - The same analogy is applied
to manners, excusing oneself before butting in, hardly means it's socially
appropriate to be rude in the first place. Just an analogy, I'm not
equating your post with being the same as the example.
There must be an echo in here, I could have sworn you had posted the
same exact question months prior...

Please mind your manners, too. David has been around here alot longer than
you, as far as I can tell. Personally, I found nothing wrong with his post.

I didn't even notice your post until Murray replied.

I don't think this forum is being drowned out by "noise."
> There are better ones, so don't let me stop you...
I'd say it's comparing apples and oranges. I like posting in a variety
of forums. Each has its strengths, weaknesses, prejudices and perks.
This is the obvious choice for Dreamweaver questions, and I've received
a surprising amount of help with PHP, which I'm currently wrestling with.

I didn't mean it as an excuse; what I meant to say was, "This post isn't
about Dreamweaver, so don't bother reading it if you're only interested
in Dreamweaver-related issues."
> There must be an echo in here, I could have sworn you had posted the

I doubt it. I've posted hundreds of questions on a wide variety of
topics, including advertising, and I have asked questions about
advertising on political sites - a sensitive issue for me, because I've
had my ads ripped for the most superfluous reasons. I've also had some
bizarre, non-ad related experiences with Yahoo.
But I don't recall ever blowing the whistle on an R-rated site that
sports Google ads, because I don't recall ever seeing one. As I said,
I'm going to keep tabs on this one. If that ad stays up, I'm going to
demand equal treatment. Or else I'll contact Judge Judy.
