I'd like to put in a reply form, not using one of the pre-defined ones which
I can't seem to be able to edit the individual objects (cut).
Also, I think I formatted the submit button, but it says "page not found"
when I test it.

How can I create a custom reply form and make the submit button work (to
send data to an email address?

Thanks

Right click the submit button and set the form properties.

(Assuming you have FP extensions on the server and are publishing in http.)

Yes, this is what I think the problem is.
What can I do if the server does not support FP extensions?

Thanks

Put a lot more work into it.

Under the form properties is an option to use an ISP program.
Basically if your host doesn't support FP extensions then you ask them what
form program they supply.
You then insert the path to their program.
This also involves custom editing to thier form program, which they should
assist you with.

I did some research and found that you have to publish by HTTP, not FTP for
Pub extensions to work. (Of course, your server has to support it too).

I've got it working fine now, but I don't like that I have to use the
pre-defined forms which I can't edit at all.  Maybe I can but I haven't
figured it out yet.

Is it possible to create a form from scratch? If I just knew where to start
I could probably figure out the rest.

Thanks

in this forum.

Ok. What's the proper term to describe looking around for information?
"Publishing to the Brain?" (-;

Then to modify an existing template I would insert it into a page, ungroup
and mess it up manually, right? (-;
