photoshop 6.0 install error on XP

Hello,
I get an error during the install of photoshop 6.0 "setup.exe is not a
valid win32 application.
I have tried :
1) change settings on the compatability tab on the setup.exe program
2) installing in safe mode
3) I am logged on as an administrator

Anyone have any other ideas?
