I have a client that I am designing a web site for. He has a good deal of p
hotos that he wants to include. Is the best way to handle this to use thumb
nails on the pages that link to separate pages in which I have one photo per
 page? that could be quite
a lot of pages.
Also, is there a script that I can use that will jump to a certain place on
a page rather than just to a page itself?
Thanks!

typically when thumbnailing you are linking to the actual original image
file rather then to a page that then contains the image.
as for bookmarking refer to

dummy me, but does that mean that I would have to upload the pics to the ser
ver as separate files - not as part of the actual Publisher file?

where do I draw the line between 1) just inserting a small image on my site
itself and 2) linking to an image on the server?

I looked at your site reference about this. Would I have to use an html fra
gment to link from a thumbnail to a larger image that was stored in an image
 file on the server?
