Upgrade for CasMate

Friends,

A friend of mine owns a sign shop. She designes signs on CasMate, and
"prints" them on a plotter that actually cuts them out of adhesive
vinyl. Her system is ancient and she wants to upgrade. Here's what she
has:

CasMate 4.02 running on Windows 3.1
Microtek ScanMaker IIG
Roland Digital Group Desktop Signmaker PNC-1050

It appears that CasMate is no longer a product and I doubt that the
4.02 will run on Windows XP.

What would be a good software to upgrade to? She has hundreds of
projects saved in CasMate, so importing them into the new software is a
must. The software should also be able to support the PNC-1050.

I found WindowsXP drivers for the PNC-1050, and I'm not really
concerned about the scanner.

If there is a better usenet group to pose this question, my apologies.

Thanks,

b.
