PSP 8 => PSP X

I am brand new to PSP so please bear with me. I have just installed PSP
X. I have a tutorial called "Desinging Scrollsaw Protrait Patterns with
Paint Shop Pro 8". One of the first steps in the tutorial is to 'record
a script'. One of the steps to be recorded is Adjust>Negative Image. I
am unable to find Negative Image on any of the drop down menus. I feel
this is probably a difference between the 2 versions of PSP.
Would anyone know what this step accomplishes and how to match it in
PSP X.
Thanks for any and all help.

Negative Image is there, but you cannot be blamed for missing it. We
would expect at least an index entry for Negative in the Help, eh?
Look on the Image menu in the default workspace. Everything in PSP 8
is also in PSP 10, but Corel has shuffled the menu items around like
Hazel rearranging the furniture and calling it a new house.

In particular, look into View > Customize > Commands. Select Unused
Commands to see several good features hidden away for who knows what
reason. Many of us have brought our favorites back into the menus
and toolbars.

Thanks for your kind offer. I want to use this to begin to learn PSP. I
do scrollsawing as a hobby and sometimes scroll photo patterns. I must
use photos that have been converted to patterns by others. This means
that I am unable to use any of my photos unless I send them out to be
converted. Now3 that I have to tool to do it myself I am anxious to
learn.
