Something wrong with my images in IE browser only

Hi,
I have a flash gallery that has the images dynamically loading into Loader
components (so that the images can easily be changed periodically) and in
Internet Explorer, the first time you load the site, the images are huge and
overlapping each other all over the place. When you leave any particular pag
e
with images and return to it, then the images look fine and don't "misbehave
".
What could be the problem? This does not happen in Safari or Firefox/Mozilla
.

Here are links to the swf and html files of the flash site.
http://www.bernalvisualart.com/bva_flash_06.swf (no preloader)
http://www.bernalvisualart.com/bva_flash_06.html (no preloader)
http://www.bernalvisualart.com/bva_flash_07.swf (with preloader)
http://www.bernalvisualart.com/bva_flash_07.html (with preloader)

Can anyone help me please? Thanks a lot!
:confused;

I could only get it to do it one time, even after emptying the cache
and reloading. These kinds of problems are usually related to
modifying a clip's properties before it has finished loading. You
can't change the loading clip's x or y or width or height while it is
loading but you can put that clip inside another clip and modify that
other one instead. It's just guesswork without the fla though.

Thanks, tralfaz.

If you email me at adwowa@XXXXXXXXXX, I can send you the fla to check it out.
It is true that I resize the Loader components to fit the size of the images
,
but now I'm not sure at what point I should do the resizing. I have tried
putting the Loader component in a movie clip before and the images just
wouldn't load for some reason... If you are willing to guide me, please send
 me
an email and I'll let you take a look at my fla. Thanks a lot.

I would help you, no problem, but unfortunately I still use Flash
version 6 (MX) so I can't work with version 7 (MX2004) or version 8.
It seems like I am the only one still using version 6 these days!

This forum is much less used than the macromedia.flash.actionscript
forum. This forum is more geared to views of overall site design
rather than to technical issues so to get rapid help (usually) you can
zip up the fla file and put it on your website and post a link to it
on the forum.
Sometimes it's best to make a scaled down version that just
demonstrates the problem and leave out other stuff that is not
affected.
good luck,
tralfaz
