Importing Layered Images with Paths

Hi. I am really new to Flash. I am trying to import close-cropped images of
products into a banner format. I would like to place these products against
different coloured backgrounds other than white. Everytime I try to import I
get a background attached with the product. How can I import so I can mainta
in
the clipping path around a close-cropped image? Please Help. Thanks in advan
ce.
