In PS 7, Ctrl- and Ctrl+ works as it should for zooming in and out. In AI
CS (30 Demo) the Ctrl+ does not work, only Ctrl-. This is on Windows XP
with SP1, AMD XP1800+, 768MB Ram.
Had a quick look at the Adobe forums but didn't see anthing there. Anyone
else ever see this?

Just a thought, but is that key combination taken globally by anything else
on your machine? Probably just a demobug but it happened to me with AI and
some key combination once.

Not that I'm aware of... if I did I assume it would also interfere with PS
7. Like you say, it may be a demo bug.

I remember reading somewhere the Adobe disabled some ctrl shortcuts in demo
versions to irritate anyone who tried to use a demo with an illegal serial
number.

Go Figure... The only shortcut I'm using right now and Adobe goes and
disables it... Also, this is a perfectly legit copy, I just DL'd it
yesterday. Anyway, it's nota big deal...

Oh I know that, and on occasion it is tempting to look for a hack, but I
just can't afford (and don't want to) do something stupid....
I only wish I was this smart when I was in my teen's !! LOL

That's quite odd. Take a look at the keyboard shortcuts dialog and see
what it says for that functionality...
