Paint Shop 9 question, Save Favorite File Locations

When I select save as, the save as dialog box opens and on the top right is
a icon to open favorites file locations that I repeated use. Some of these
saved file locations are now longer current and I want to delete them.
Is there a way to clean up the list of saved file locations?
Thanks.

Yes there is. Click on a location that you want to remove. Open the
list again and click on "Remove."

Thanks Fred.
That does not seem to work? In one case I had deleted the directory and
when I open the location from the drop down favorite file locations I got an
error message stating the file location is invalid (something to that
effect) and the remove option is grayed out.
I even went so far to recreate the directory just to delete it from the
favorite file locations and still cannot get rid of it?

Use "Save Copy As". It will take you to the last place you saved under that
command.

Going to contact tech support. No matter what I try , I cannot get rid of
these old or inactive saved file locations
Thanks

Thanks Trev:
I tried that, to no avail. I have emailed Corel tech support and will
interested to see their solution.
Registry editing does not scare me but I don't know where to find the place
to delete these.

It works for the rest of us. At least no one else has remarked on it
not working. You have discovered that PSP gets confused when an
entry points to a missing directory, and your response is the right
one.
1. When you have clicked on an entry in the Favorites list, does
that folder's content show in the dialog? It should.
2. When you click on Favorites a second time, the Remove option
should be available (not grey). Is it?
3. When you click on Remove, does the currently open folder
disappear from the Favorites list? It should.

Answers:
1 Yes
2 No
Now it is getting even worse. When I select one of these added directories
not only does the file location not open in the dialog box but the dialog
boxes disappears and saves the file without being prompted for name.
I am going to unload and reload the program and get a fresh start.
Thanks
