Hello, All,

I am trying PSP X and cannot use a set of .abr brush files I have, it
says "format unsupported".

Can anyone confirm that .abr brushes are unsupported on X, so I don't
waste more time on this trial ?

The Corel TechSupport told me such stupid things that this alone would
be a very good reason to steer away from them.

Regards,
-Gian

If the .abr brushes were made using Adobe Photoshop 5.5 or earlier, they
can be used in PSP X by using File > Import > Custom Brush. Brushes that
use the newer proprietary format introduced in Photoshop 6 can't be
used.

PSP can read PS brushes created as version 5.5 or earlier. Later
versions cannot be read. You can try using this utility to create images
out of the brushes and export them as PSP brushes:
