and not www.adobe.com because the sites have not been merged yet, although i

Anyways back to the subject.  Currently there are no updates for Studio 8.
Unfortunately I don't know what the error is for.  I have to ask though, do 
you
have any extensions installed?  If you do try uninstalling all of them and
repeat the same step, this is just to eliminate the possibility that an
extension might be causing the problem.  Then if you still get the error
contact Macromedia to see what they say.

Well, it doesn't crash the app so I can live with it. Just was wondering.
