Hi there, i'm working on a website that uses .tpl and .php extensions. I had
 to
install a new extension in Dreamweaver in order to be able to work on my .tp
l
files.
But after i installed it when i open any of these files i can only see the
code view. The design and code&design views appear disabled (greyed out)  so
 i
can't click on them.
Do you have any idea why this is hapening?

Yes - DW doesn't recognize the .tpl extension as containing any
presentational code.  You would have to add that to the extensions list in
DW to get a Design view -
