By including a file in your message and not sending your question as
text message, you are probably limiting you potential help responses.

Some people might not want to download a file, not knowing the
contents, just to see your question.

What do you mean when you are saying "putting logo's into ai"?

You can create a new blank document and then place your image using
File>Place. You can just open the image using File>Open.

If you are wanting something different, please specify what exactly
you are trying to do.

If you are wanting to convert the .bmp/.jpg to vector format,
Illustrator CS2, using the Live Trace will do a good job.

I see a link was posted to brandsoftheworld. They have a bunch of eps
format logo's.

inez, his original post appeared in my newsreader, Forte Agent, to
have a file size (# of lines) of 1207. When I got the body of the
message it also automatically downloaded a .ppt file (powerpoint) that
showed his example image. A little extra work just to see a question.

EESH! I just access nntp through my ISP using Outlook Express and don't have
powerpoint on my system. Not even his message header made it through.
