Use a font that contains a bullet character?

Adobe InDesign and Pagemaker are their page layout software programs.
InDesign has all of the typesetting attributes that you would ever
use. Quark Xpress is a very popular page layout program with
typesetting.
Illustrator has many fine qualities and unrivaled in creating and
manipulating vector artwork and while it does have some typesetting
features, that is not it's main function.
As suggested you can use the Character Map utility to get special
characters in Illustrator. You could also just put a small circle (2pt
X 2pt for example).
In Illustrator CS2 you can access these from the menu, Type > Glyphs

Or you can try the most blatantly obvious. Leave a couple of spaces between
each of the entries as you type them, then go back and create another object
for the bullets. Duplicate as needed, insert into spaces.

Simply hold a gun directly to your screen where you want the bullet and fire
as many times as necessary.
Jeez, some people...
