my animation disappears when tested

i made a movie clip where the text is to (for simplicity sake of describing)
rotate, but when i ctrl+enter to test, it disappears at the part it is to st
art
rotating. what's the deal? it works fine viewing on the movieclip timeline..
.

Is your text a symbol? If not, redo the animation with the text in a moviecl
ip.

Just use Static text .. not Dynamic or Input text.  It will not
disappear if you rotate static text.  If you do need dynamic text you
will need to embed the font outline so it won't disappear.  Embed font
outline is under the "character" button for text properties.

thanks both you guys. i had made my text dynamic text instead of static text
 before turning it into a movieclip. went back, changed it, all is goot.

great!  (but it does not need to be turned into a movieclip to rotate
it)
