Is there any cms ( opensource ) that is easy to install? I tried several
opensource CMS's but that was a little tooo much for me to install. Its a
kind of tricky.

Is there ANy dummie secure Instalation ( like selfextracting exe ) wich I
install and forget about all this settups in order to instal a simple cms?

I need a cms for building and active content for a small group / community.

Thanks for advice

Hi Blueeye,

If you take a hosting account with Fantastico, you have one-click installs
for a variety of CMS's (Mambo, Typo3, XOOPS)

Most hosts that offer the Plesk control panel have similar options. Check to
see if they offer the "Application pack" which features various wizard style
installations.

However you will have to develop some familiarity with FTP and the way some
of these packages are constructed, if you wish to maintain them with the
latest security patches and releases - or find someone to do this for you.

I am not sure that there is an official homepage for fantastico, but if you
google for 'fantastico demo' you will reach a few sites that offer a
functional demo.
