Hi,

thank you for your tip. But I think the default value of headlight is
already set as TRUE. My problem is that I can not see the vrml object
(e.g. line) if I walked to the back side of it. Is there any
possibility to add one extra light source, which moves with the
camera?

thanks a lot

lucia

Line, as in an IndexedLineSet.

I could suggest that in your material node for this "line" you could
set the emmisive colour ot the colour you want and set the
ambientIntensity to 1, this will effectively remove all lighting from
this line and it will not be affected by lines at all, what are you
specifically trying to do?

Hope this helps.

There are other causes for this problems beside missing light e.g. there
is no backside (e.g. solid TRUE/FALSE in a IndexedFaceSet) or there is
a problem related to the normals.

Auf deutschen HP9000-Tastaturen wurde übrigens die bei deutschen
