Looks good and accessible. I like the bullets. Some of the text on the contact form looks a little small, but that might just be my browser. The logo seems to be suffering from quite bad jpeg degradation - I'd have thought PNG would be a better format for it anyway, given the low number of colours. Oh, and to be really picky, should the 'qualification set up' link have a capital Q instead? What's the session cookie for? - I can't see anything on the site that needs one. -- Chris

Generally very clean and easy to use. It seems a bit monochromatic, with just a couple of blue links breaking the black/white/orange. You could use a colored graphic bullet, or push the white background to something like #efefff, or set a color for the headers. There is no 'BORDER' attribute, line 25. -- Cheers, m at http://www.mbstevens.com/

1. Text is almost 'shouting' (1024x768) ...Its almost as hard to read text which is too big as text which is too small! 2. Since there is no orange border to the right of your white content box, the page 'looks' like it has a horizontal scroll (I know it hasn't) 3. Blue links on orange seem to pulsate if you look at them for a while (bad color combo) 4. There doesn't really seem to be a layout design there at all, just the usual left nav and content to the right 5. I like the Duo Consulting logo, but it should be in transparent gif format, with the orange as transparent -- W

AFAICT ASP does it by default - I have been struggling with that too, but I haven't managed to find a way to stop it yet. As you say, there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. -- Mark Parnell http://www.clarkecomputers.com.au

One error when validating accessibility with Cynthia. http://www.contentquality.com/mynew...//apelme.co.uk/ When I first visited your site the bottom line of the square li attribute in the content are missing. http://www.semi-conductor.nl/img/william.png 20.7 KB (21199 bytes) -- Edwin van der Vaart http://www.semi-conductor.nl/ Links to Semiconductors sites http://members.chello.nl/e.vandervaart/ Experimental site

Thank you. Changes made as a result of ng feedback include: o Font-weight normalised o Random markup/copy fixed Seems there's work to do on the logo. I blame lack of skills and subsequent poor use of tools. Original (as always) supplied by the client or their agent. Session cookie is on by default - there's nothing on this site which relies on it. It does no harm and captures no data other than that randomly used by the on-board stats package. Thanks for the heads-up on the forms. Original markup is from a methodology I no longer employ. Don't know how that crept in. Pilot phase is now over so I can afford the luxury of revisiting and updating those pages. As for the colours - I'm hoping the blandness of the pages will convince the client that it needs more colour. Currently the brief stands at "Use the colours in the logo". Think I may have pushed the boat out a bit with the copy and link colours ;o) -- William Tasso

Accessibility suggestions: (1) Avoid the use of '::' in title and text; a voice browser speaks 'colon colon' (2) As above for '...'; voice browser speaks 'dot dot dot' (3) Suggest putting a <H2> label at the start of the navigation column to provide easy access to it. (4) It's sometimes useful to place a punctuation mark of some sort (e.g. comma) at the end of bullet points to prevent the words running into one another. (5) I didn't hear 'Duo Consulting' on the logo being spoken ..... text missing from the ALT ? (6) On contactform.asp it might be useful to place 'the small print' details before the form contents so that they're heard first. Others ===== whatisl3.asp -------------- [children][ ][:] ---> [children][:] training.asp -------------- [candidate have] ---> [candidate has] about.asp ------------ [vistors] ---> [visitors] regards, -- Jake

If you have access to the server/IIS, you can uncheck the 'Enable Session State' checkbox for a given application which will prevent these Session cookies from being created. AFAIK, there isnt a coding method that can do this... But as you say, the Session cookie does no harm, and won't affect the site if it is blocked... Chris

Is this a form validation bug. With the form empty when I click the send message botton on your contact for m I get HTTP 500 - Internal server error. -- Duende
