I need to buy a new computer monitor. I have been looking at the older CRT
and the newer LCD types. Which is better for graphics work ?
I need a monitor that is accurate for graphics work, and can display a
graphics image just as it was rendered. Any recommendations ?

Well, I've been looking for a TFT monitor for some time now, and from what I've heard, is classic CRT still better in showing colors.

If you can afford an Eizo, then you could purchase an LCD. Otherwise
only a CRT is sufficiently correct in it's colour display.

I'm not going to buy an LCD for at least a couple of years.
I've got too many toys that are selling for 15% of what I paid
5 years ago.

Except for my Wacom Intuos 3. What a waste of money but I
love it !!!

LOL! About 6 weeks before the v3 Intuos was due out I bought a Wacom
"used" Intuos 2. Saved a great deal of money and it came out the box
as new <g>
