I am on PS9 and am trying to write text onto my graphic, but it keeps doing
the outline of the letters. What do I change to get it write the normal
letters on my picture?

I didn't have this problem in PS7.

Thanks,

Tom.

In text, the foreground color is the outline, the background color is
the fill.

"It" doesn't keep doing anything. You keep doing it instead.
Start by reading Help > Help Topics > Contents > Working with
Text. Then, set the Stroke for the text to zero in the Tool
Options palette or set the foreground color of the text to
Null. If the text appears hollow or disappears, set the
background color to non-null. To modify existing text, select
it with the Object Selector tool, right click and choose Edit
Text from the context menu, highlight the characters you
want to change, and then change the properties you want to
modify. In PSP 9 everything works pretty much the same as
in PSP 7 except you have extra options, such as Stroke,
different levels of antialiasing, text warping and text
direction control.

PS is the abbreviation for Photoshop. PSP is Paint Shop Pro.
