I have just installed my new PSP9 and am having the same trouble I had with
version 8. When I select certain plug-ins (not all of them), PSP just closes
completely. Is there something I can do to correct this?

I'm having a little problem, so some advice would be appreciated. :-)

I have the PSP-9 upgrade on order from a company here in the UK, and while
I'm waiting for delivery, I've recently installed to 60 day trial of PSP
and have been doing the various things required to make it how I want
it... All's well so far as the tool bars etc, and Workspace have been
setup without trouble.

My problem is with Plugins.
In "C:\Documents and Settings\Dave\My Documents\My PSP Files" I have a
directory called, believe it or not, Plugins containing a couple of Sub
Directories with a selection of .8bf plugin files.

In the PSP File-Preferences-File locations-Plug-ins, I have set the path
to: "C:\Documents and Settings\Dave\My Documents\My PSP Files\Plugins".

Nb: The path entry in the dialogue was Browse selected so the words,
spaces and case of "Plugins" is the same.

Enable Plug-ins is ticked.
Limit loaded plug-ins to .8bf is ticked.

Folder options:
Enable is ticked.
Use sub folders is ticked.

But PSP 9 will not find the the Plugins... Even after a computer reboot.

I have extracted one plugin file .8bf from within, and placed it inside
the Plug-in directory inside the PSP 9 install.

There obviously is an entry in the File locations-Plug-in dialogue
pointing at the internal PlugIn directory...
PSP 9 does not see it.

PSP 8.10 which is directed to the same place "...\My Documents\My PSP
Files\Plugins" can recognise them okay.

Is this just because I'm using a time bombed version, or is there
something else I'm missing?

Cheers
Dave S

There is a problem with the International English version of PSP9 and
plugins. Try Help > Updates or if that won't work in the trial version
try downloading and running
ftp://ftp.jasc.com/pub/Update/psp9ieplugin.exe .
