Why reinvent the wheel? Let your client just send his images to Alamy. Easy.

Because if we didn't reinvent the wheel, it would be a pretty bumpy ride.
Ask Fred Flintstone.

I would think this is the client's/photographer's responsibility, including
model and location releases. If the client is clueless about these things
then he/she should consult an attorney to both setup agreements for usage
sales and to protect himself against any liability.

Lots of great info on this site:

http://www.alamy.com/

is what they mean, I suspect.

Here is a really good tip for the 'uninitiated':

www.google.com

there you can type in your search and if you're lucky, you can find
what you came for and lots more! It's awesome, man, hugely retecool!

I think you'll find that most limitations etc should be set by the contract
between owner and purchaser. Any agreement will override any 'default'
restrictions. If you're setting up to sell, you'll need to get the client
to agree to whatever terms you want - like 'restricted for one publication,
not to be distributed', or 'unlimited use', or 'usage to expire 2005', or
'must include photo credit to ....', or 'for news reporting only, not to be
used in any advertising material', or 'not to be used to represent any
illegal activity or product' etc etc
