Hi there,
I've made what I'm thinking of calling a far toooo elaborate picture with
loads of Atmos and Particle effects that have brought my PC close to it's
knees.

I have now lost track of all the materials I have used ( i am on version 53
of (this version) this model.

Can I get a list of all materials in the scene and hopefully what meshes use
them?

I have tried the eyedropper on individual meshs but it doesn't always work
( it does not work on objects that have been Scattered) but that may be a
memory prob.

Thanks for any help

Richard

Sure.

In the material editor click on the icon furthest to the left in the
row that has the eyedropper in it. Then in the checkboxes in the widow
that comes up, check "scene" instead of "library" or "editor".

Thanks for the suggestion. It's exactly what I was looking for.
