I am searching for tutorial(s) about mirroring
(and are probably searhing on the wrong
place in my books - 3!) but do not find it.
Playing around with the Liquify Filter and
not really getting done what I want to do,
is quite frustrating.

Can somebody direct me to any tutorials
about how to mirror, please.

Dave

What exactly do you mean by "mirroring"? Take a look at Transform.

Thanx for your reply. I'm talking about having somebody on a photo
look the other way, as if they see themselves in a mirror. Or creating
a image of one as if the person is standing next to a mirror.

In the meantime, while following-up on your reply, I have asked my
helpfile about 'Transforming' and thìs is what I get:

***********************************************************
'Rotating and flipping entire images'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
'The Rotate Canvas commands let you rotate or flip an entire image.
The commands do not work on individual layers or parts of layers,
paths, or selection borders.'
****************************************************************************
****

I am sure this ìs what I am looking for. Thanks again for your reply.

Dave

I am simply talking about more help on using the 'Mirror Tool' in
the Liquify' filter directory, than what I find available.

If you select the object or area you want mirrored and Ctrl-J (Command-J
on Mac) to copy to another layer, then Ctrl-T for Transform you can then
flip that copied object and move it into whatever position you want.
Better than flipping the entire canvas.

Thanks again. And another thankyou for the shortcut (Ctrl-T).
This will be it:-)

I tried (something like) this with the mirror tool. Transform it will
be:-)

for hours.
This is it. Thanks for the solution.
