PSP Folks

I do a fair bit of modifying images with small brushes - around 1 .. 5
pixels - then need to move up to perhaps 50 - 100 pixels for 'broad brush'
stuff.

Is there any 'trick' for making the brush size slider contol behave in a
non-linear - perhaps Log - fashion so I can adjust small brush sizes more
accurately when using tiny brushes but still move to larger brush quickly
(where you don't normally ned the same level of precison when setting the
size).?

I know the slider / spinner controls can do this but they are relatively
course / slow if you are moving between widely differing brush sizes
frequently (and occasionaly I misjudge the pen's target on the spinner and
accidently hit the scale slider which gives me a brush of maybe 200!

Kris - If this is effectively a request for a new feature then I realise
that it's probably a bit late for this issue of PSP 9, but maybe some time
in the future?..

Thanks in Advance.

GYH

You know that you can use the mouse wheel to adjust those spiners but you
can use the ketbord too
a.. Press Alt + X to decrease the brush size by one pixel.

b.. Press Alt + C to increase the brush size by one pixel.

c.. Hold down Alt and Shift and press X to decrease the brush size by 20
pixels.

d.. Hold down Alt and Shift and press C to increase the brush size by 20
pixels..

e.. Hold down the Alt key and drag (to drag, hold down the left mouse
button and then move the mouse) the left mouse button up or down to rapidly
change the brush size.

f.. Hold down the Alt and Shift keys and drag the left mouse button; the
size will be set to its lowest value (3 pixels for the Art Media tools, and
1 pixel for the raster painting tools) and then you can drag to increase it
from there.
