Run that by us once again... it barely makes any sense!
But from what I CAN put together... sounds like your having
a problem with your graphics card co-operating and refreshing
as fast as it should OR can (which ever u prefer).
Try this:
Minimize all your windows...
Click on your Desktop
Right Click and Choose Properties...
Click on the Settings Tab...
Advanced button...
Troubleshoot tab...
Do you run a lot of games? If not...
Put your Hardware Acceleration down to None or the middle
click OK
If nothing gets fixed... you might want to return to those
Advanced options and read on and find if u can change
a few display settings in all the tabs (general, adapter, monitor,
troubleshoot, color management).
That's what I think the problem is... I could very well be wrong
of course!

I'm using PSP v8.10 on a Windows XP Pro machine, P4 3.2 processor and
1Gb RAM. I have my video settings at high, 32 bits. Whenever I run
PSP, I lose half or more of the icons in the tool bar. They're not
even greyed out, they're just not there. They work, since I know where
the ones I use are located, so I just move the mouse over the blank
space and click and the function operates, but where are my icons?
Anyone else run into this problem? I haven't had a chance to call JASC
yet. Thanks.

My graphics card is an ATI 128Mb Radeon 9200 AGP card. I got around to
calling JASC, and their answer was they were aware of the problem, and
to set my color quality to 16 bits instead of 32 bits. I'm not
particularly happy with that answer. Seems to me PSP should be able to
work with 32 bit color with a decent graphics card, which I believe
(and I could be wrong) mine is.
