Would someone be able to advise me what would be the easiest way to recreate
the fine lines seen on http://members.shaw.ca/annaps/lines/index.htm .

Would each of these lines be hand drawn or is there a way to simplify this.

thx

Anna

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Here's what I came up with...this was done using the noise filter with 2%
noise, then using free transform to stretch the effect.
