Hi
I posted this message a week ago, but it seems to have gotten lost.
I'm using Publisher 2003 and when I design the page, then go to
see the 'web page preview' it looks different. For example, the color bar
on the side is not the same length, the spaces between text boxes is
different, and where I place the bottom box of navigation bars ends up in a
different spot.
This is also how it appears on my computer when I go into the actual site,
however on my friends computers, it appears okay sometimes, like it was
originally designed.
Is it my browser? I've tried it on different screen resolutions, and it
still appears the same. I've reset my window size,; same thing.
I've looked in 'help'....nothing there. What could it be??
I've used the design checker, everything okay there too.
Please help!!!
thanks

hmmm, it doesn't appear lost to me.
I see I asked 3 questions in response.
You could have responded to that thread with the answers.
One of which you did provide in this repost.
Again I'd have to ask, what browsers are you talking about here?
What are you using and what is the friend using?
And what display resolutions are the two of you using?
What your post really needs is the URL of the page in question so I can
review it.
Give me what I'm asking for and then I can work on drawing some conclusions.
Help me to help you.

Sunsong,
Perhaps it is the Feng Shui of your site ;)
Publisher 2003 produces variable length pages depending on the content of
each page. The 'color bar' will vary in length in proportion to your content
I believe. And if you are talking about the image that appears to the right
of text on your Home page, but in the 'color bar' on the other three pages,
then I would imagine that given the lack of room for it on your Home page
'color bar', Publisher moved the image elsewhere...where there was room for
the image. It also shifts where that image appears on the 'color bar'
depending on the length of the 'color bar'.
I believe that all your components will shift around a bit depending on
where you put images and the amount of content on each page. You might have
to play around with the placement to get more consistency, but David
Bartosik will likely have a better answer for you.
