www.sez1.com

backbone up for site - graffiti showcase.
no 'moralizing' about the pro's & con's of graf tags please.

I understand that my site is not totally www3 compliant - I have omitted
"alt" tags for images and have used "bkg" attrib's for tables / cells.
(cant' seem to get away from that one - I rely heavily on that for
graphic effect.)

I also understand that my floating navbar only works on IE4+ . If anyone
wants to volunteer to update the DOM in the java for me, great. (the
only Java I like is Americano).

Be interested to see how Mac's view it.

Thanks for any and all commentary!

I'm a designer... I *love* graffiti!

Use stylesheets instead then. They can be used to apply background
images. What you mean is you dont know how ;)

<table... style="background: url(images/myimagehere.gif) norepeat;">

There is *no* excuse for a site not to validate, period. There is
nothing you cannot do and still have it validate.

You mean JavaScript. There is no Java on your web site. Java is a
completely different language. Get rid of it anyway. If a user has JS
turned off, they see nothing.

I really dont like the site layout so far... it's very cheap, and
considering the quality of the art you're supposed to be showing off, it
simply does it no justice. Perhaps have one of the artists work on a
design with you?

Hmm. There's not a sniff of Java on your site. JavaScript, however,

What's graffiti really about? Is it art, or a middle finger to the
establishment? Whatever it is, I don't know what I was expecting from a
web site about graffiti, but yours isn't it. There's nothing rebellious
about the site.

Compared to some of the artwork shown on the site, the site itself is
boring to look at. It also looks different in IE6 and Firefox 0.8. It
looks broken in IE6.

If I had my graffiti featured on your site, I'd ask for it to be taken
off.

floating nav bar on the left..it's reaall effort to be able to see what's
there...
otherwise...
Love it!

* the title banner is mostly illegible
