I passed the C|EH exam today. I used the book you can buy on amazon as my main study material and I feel that every question I saw was in the book somewhere. Screw the rest PM me any if you want any more info.

sorry to hear you use a dump to prepare for a test that contains the word ETHICAL, for crying out loud...

I don't judge because I am a Mod. I don't even judge. I find it staggering as a Network Security Engineer, as an Instructor, and as a test taker myself...
You know what you were doing when you posted that anyway. And by the way, don't be so quick to blame me for judging you. You're the one who resorted to cheating after all.

the whole point of me posting that was to say people didnt need a dump for the exam but i guess the point was lost once your "someone put the word braindump in a post" alarm when off...
and you do judge, i have seen many of your pulpit, freak is god, my way of thinking is the only way, posts, dont lie to yourself about that, personally i find better things to take stands against like shitty drivers and lame XXX internet camaign people but enjoy your anti-brain dump campaign you are right up with the rest of lame XXX internet cause people.

well, now, aren't you the upset little boy all of a sudden. Why is that? Because you know that what you did was wrong, and it was shown to you as such? Because, deep down, you agree that braindumps are wrong, yet you don't have the moral fortitude to say no to them?
As for the "freak is god" comment, that's pretty lame. I have repeatecly been on record, on this site and many others, in stating my admiration and respect for many of our fellow forum members.
My way is "Braindumps are for people who allow themselves to cheat." That's my way, and yes, I do believe that it is the best way. And if I tend to preach it, it's because of people like you who come to a forum and parade around saying they passed a test and used a braindump to do so. I don't want newbies to see that and think that 1. it's ok to do it, and 2. that's the way to do it. When push comes to shove, you will find that most members here agree with me on this matter. I don't think that I am the leader of this cause. I think that I am one of the people who are willing to stand up to it even if it costs me in advertising revenue. It's called integrity, Mister Certified Ethical (ahem, ahem) Hacker.
Look man, I don't know you, and I don't judge you as a person. I do think that your action was at the very least misguided. You made your choice, live with it. It's your shame, your burden. I wish you well.

yawn all you want, it only reinforces the fact that you were wrong. Which is fine.
Good day to you as well!

i will agree with you, this was the first time i used one and probably wont use one again. To me i wanted to see what all the ranting was about that people are constantly spewing. I am not disagreeing with you at all. I have passed my other exams without them and dont plan on using them again.
Once again the whole point of my post was the you could buy the 70 dollar book from amazon and get all the info you needed and NOT use dumps. Personally, i dont think you read anything, just see the word dump and go flying off the handle.
One thing i dont understand is that you preach all this morality but right here on this site i see stuff like "Guide for Success!
Actual Questions & Answers
MCSE, MCSD, A+ ,CCNA, CCNP
Oracle 8i, Oracle 9i"
Doesnt this go completely against everything you are saying? This is your site isnt it? you talk like you own examnotes. Maybe you should clean up your own backyard?

No, this is not my site. I don't own it. I own two IT-related sites, both of which are STRONGLY anti-dumps - and well known for it.
I'll clean up my yard when you check your facts first
I read your post, and I am happy that you used "a real book" to study for this test. Glad to see that you don't care for dumps either. More power to you!
