Does anyone know where I can download the multiple undo patch? I can't find it anywhere.

Walter:
OE remove the attachment calling it unsafe. Is there another way to do this
, as I would like it?

Turn off the feature in OE:

Tools > Options > Security > uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved
or opened...."

If you have a virus checker (if not, why not?), check the file I posted.
You'll feel better.

My Dear Mr. Ludwig,

The Image Composer Multiple Undo Patch is a .reg file. The extension
..reg causes regedit.exe to add the contents of the file to your
registry - this means that it alters your registry by adding or
changing an entry in it.

What a .reg file truly is, though, is a very small text file. You can
open it in notepad and see the contents. The values in undo.reg are:
--------------------------------------

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Image
Composer\Settings]
"MaxUndoLevels"=dword:00000010

-------------------------------------
Note: Do not include the dotted lines.
The line [HKEY_... ....\Settings] is all one line; no line breaks,
just spaces.

If you take these three lines and paste them in notepad and save it as
undo.reg, you will have your patch. Click on undo.reg to implement the
Multiple Undo Patch; Windows will tell you the patch was successful
after it has finished (one or two seconds). Notice the "dword" value
for MaxUndoLevels of 00000010? This means 10 edits can be undone. I use
00000004; this gives me 4 edits I can undo. More undo levels use more
memory, so be careful.

Good luck, my dear Ludwig, and happy editing.

I've had this reg file a long time ago. I know what it is.
