Color Tuning causes Image Composer to crash

| I often need to use the color tuning tools to modify the lighting,
contrast, and shades of my pictures, but more times than not, when
clicking on the Color Tuning button on the toolbar, the entire program
hangs and eventually crashes.
It is not a consistent behavior and I have yet to figure out the
pattern that causes it to crash, as there are times when it would just
work beautifully
Has this happen to many of you? If so, what's causing it, and how do I
prevent it?

| Try the Microsoft Knowledge Base. I've had, and know of, no experience with
this.

| Apparently this is a very common problem...just do a search in this
group for "color tuning" and you will see :(
