Weekly Theme #189 - Sept 11 2005 - "Sports"

| Hey Gang -
This will be the last time that the theme is announced in these news groups.
The groups have been VERY idle and there's no reason to drag out their
existence with these announcements.
The themes will continue.
Please be sure to check for the latest theme at http://www.imagedraw.com/ .
This week's theme is "Sports".
It's that time of year in the U.S. when baseball is coming to an end and
football, basketball and hockey start to show up everywhere on the
television.
Let's make an image of something that reminds you of your favorite sport.
Last week's theme was "Buttons and Bows".
You can see the images here: http://www.imagedraw.com/idthemes/090405.html
Thanks,
Rich

| After 189 issues, countless posts, and lots of fun, the ImageDraw themes
quietly fade from the IC/PD ngs. (Sob.)
Many thanks, Rich. See you and Brenda around the 'Net. :)

Yes. It's sad when there are apparently only a handful of people around
the entire planet using our favourite software (errr... I mean MS Image
Composer, for those of you in other newsgroups.)
But never fear, folks... I'm an Information Systems Manager and senior
IT teacher at an Australian secondary school and I, and my students, use
MIC regularly even though I've also made Photo$hop, Paintshop, MS Paint
and Fireworks available.
I've led my little acolytes wisely in the eternal path of MIC orthodoxy.
An 'accidental' loan - or five, or fifty - of a MIC installation CD
doesn't hurt either :-) Hell - it's 'Abandonware'. Let MIC live!
It's great to see non-academic kids getting the "Ohhhh, *now* I get it"
buzz after a few minutes with MIC and then playing/working creatively
for ages afterwards. With Photo$hop, such productivity takes time,
effort and application. With MIC, it's a dream.
