Author adding or deleting fonts in Image Composer

Hiya Folks,

As a sometime website creator and maintainer with a passion for good looking
images I am a rabid fan of MIC. Currently using Version 1.5 which came with
my MSFP. Graduated from Version 1.0

Does anyone know how to import new fonts into MIC once they are on my
computer. I've tried everything I can think of.

Tks,
Hank

Try removing as many fonts as you can, to keep the total number small. IC
seems to have a limit on the number of fonts it can (or will) process.

After that, remove IC, install your desired fonts, and reinstall IC.

HTH.

Hi "Walterius",

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll have a go at that.

I don't install fonts any longer. I open the font, then I open MIC and it is
there to use while I am working with it. I write down which font I am using
and keep it in the MIC file. When I am done I close the font and go on to
other things. If I am not happy with that particular font, I find another
one and open it and open another version of MIC and it will be accessible
there and then I copy the text to the one where I need it. All MS programs
handle fonts that way. Saves an awful lot space by not having to install all
the fonts and still be able to use them.

Marlies,

What means "open the font" ??
I tested this but IC does not list the font:

in Wndowx XP
click on a font not installed in the system
(opens a font preview window)
Open MIC
Select the text tool and try to find the font
the font is not there

Best Regards
Alejandro Lapeyre

Hi Alejandro,

I don't know why you can't see your font, I do it all the time and always
see the font. The only thing to remember is to open the font first and then
MIC or open a second copy of Mic after you have opened the font and look for
it on that one.

Marlies
