| Since MS Photodraw is no longer working is there a way to convert the .mix
files I have into .mic files for MS Image Composer?

| I tried saving some PhotoDraw files in several mix versions. The available
save options were as PhotoDraw 2.0, PhotoDraw 1.0, Picture It! 4.0 and
Picture It! 2.0 - 3.0. Image Composer was able to open each format. ALL of
them were flattened into one image. No layers or sprites.

| I also saved a PD2 (standalone version, as opposed to the SR1a version) MIX
file as four variations of MIX: PD2, PD1, PictureIt 4, and PictureIt 2-3.
The file has many layers, including a background. I attempted to open them
in PictureIt Photo 7.0, which is a pretty decent program.
Results from PictureIt Photo 7.0:
PD2 MIX: could not open.
PI2-3 MIX: opened, but flattened.
PI4 MIX: opened, preserved all but background layer (lost).
PD1 MIX: opened, preserved all but background layer (distorted).
Wildly different results, eh?
Least destructive results were with PD1 MIX.
