Microsoft Picture It! 2002

| Without provocation known to me, this program no longer
allows me to create web-ready pictures. Initially,
an "error" sign comes up with no message. Clicking "OK"
clears the work and then yeilds a "suggestion" that the
memory may be not available. This is not possible with
the machine I have; Alineware's Area-51 with massive
memory for gaming. I'm using XP Professional. I know that
Microsoft's Picture It! software is unstable. I used to
have the 2000 software. I wish I knew of another type
that was more stable. Is there anything that can be done
to resolve this matter now?
