Author Image Composer 7 and 9 premature shutdown

The answer in the knowledge base that claims is the reason for the shutdown
does not apply to me. What can be causing this, I have worked on a project
that I basically have to save, close the program and continue on another
start up. All of a sudden I can hear by hard drive spin and boom the
hourglass appears and I have lost everything I have done to that point. Even
if I come out of the cloning tool and click the diskette, it does not save
anything. What will remedy this problem?

Image Composer 7 and 9?

The latest version that I know of is 1.5.

Where have I been?

PictureIt, maybe?

Why do they think Image Composer is a generic newsgroup for all Microsoft
imaging problems? On the other hand, it gives us something to do. :-)

Bill, you are so right about a dead group.

The Photoshop groups are full of flamers and other anal forms of life; the
Expression group is even deader than this one; PhotoDraw and IC are history.
None of the other graphics newsgroups interest me. What's a poor graphics
newsgroup junkie to do?

Hay Walter!

Did you ever try out that plug-in I posted about in the PD group?

Hey Bill!

Yes I am occasionally using it. My understanding of it is that I can
completely change the tone (warmth, coolness, etc.) of an image in one
click. In fact, I just downloaded a cool-toned image with the intent of
using the filter on it. I decided to check the MSFT gfx ngs before working
on the image and, lo, there was your post. I do find the number of controls
intimidating, however.
