Author types in XForms

Is there ability for xforms:input element with binded data type to
enter charackters as long as the content of xforms:input agrees with
type? In instance, if I specified xsd:decimal type for xforms:input
then I should be able to enter digits only. If there is no such ability
then is there plans to add it?

No.

We haven't got any plans to do that. But I can see the use. Supporting simple
types like xsd:decimal should be fairly easy, but general support could be
troublesome...
