You must use an XML MIME type for the file. Is IIS sending it with
application/xml, application/xhtml+xml or the like?

Thanks Anne for the pointer

Have been unaible so serve the .xhtml files as mime type
application/xhtml+xml

However, if i use an other extension .ame that i link to the same mime
type the XForm works perfectly !!!

Is this because there is a fixed mime definition of xhtml in IIS ???

Is M$ blocking xhtml on purpose ???

I have IIS 5.1 on Windows XP Professional and I was able to configure
IIS to send .xhtml with the MIME type application/xhtml+xml without
problems.

Odd, seems the right way to do it, no idea why that does not work for you.
