Macromedia Flash - Flash MX 6 freezing

I am having trouble with flash MX 6 freezing using Mac 10.2.8, I have to force quit all the time.
there is no pattern or specific thing I do, I could click the stage or the menu bar and up comes the spinning wheel.
I tried deleting the preferences and all the normal stuff ... repair permissions, Mac janitor, fsck -y, and disc warrior even removed and reinstalled the program.
everything else on my computer works great.
my system is up to date with Apple, and I have 1-gig ram.
