Author unexpected file format

when i try and open my mac made flash files on my pc an error message comes up saying unexpected file format. if anyone knows how i can open my file im open to any suggestions, thanks

windows should be able to read a .fla file regardless where its created.
what version of windows..etc are you using?

Hmm I used to get that when I e-mailed flash files from my Mac at work to my PC at home. Have you tried zipping them up first? Used to work for me.
