| I have lost all ability to open any Studio 2004 applications today following
some problem with Extension Manager. As per old instructions I tried
deleting the Macrovision folder to regain functionality, but all apps just
bounce and then stop working.
OSX Panther.
I started to wonder if the Activation folder means that if MM server is down
a person's programs don't authentic, or if you aren't online, you can't use
them???? Is that possible??? This would be very bad juju and could qualify
for a lawsuit for loss of productivity, e.g.
These kind of problems are starting to make me sour on the whole upgrade.
I'm going to lose 3 days of work.

THIS didn't work. Tech support is not very good. No other advice was given.
