Author curved lines

Hello all of you,

Do people know how to calculate a curve line as used e.g. in PSP? I am
thinking of knowing the begin and end node location and then on each
node a handle for the angle/derivative of each end of the line.
I am looking for a formula knowing the two points and these two
derivatives on each side, so that I can calculate it myself in my
script. Any link would be helpful

Thanks for your help.

All the best,

Victor

Google for "bezier curve" or "spline curve". Also try searching
Mathworld (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/) for these topics.
