Creating a new layer with each tube
|

| Can anyone diagnose a way to automatically create a new raster layer with
each picture tube click.
I'd like to be able to easily move around tubes after placing them.....
Thanks!

I agree....... I didn't know about holding the shift key, that's a helper
right there!

You can make it even easier without having to use the Shift Key. Just
record a short script where you create a new raster layer and click the
OK button on the dialoge, save the script and bind it to an icon to put
on your toolbar.

And to make it SHORTER still, give that bound script a keyboard shortcut,
like 1 or 2 or ALT+A, or some other key/key combo that's not assigned, and
you can create that new layer at the touch of a key, without having to use
your mouse! Suz

You're welcome Vanessa.
If you click on the Toolbar icons whilst holding the Shift key, they'll do
their thing without opening the box, so if you're last used settings are ok
then it saves some clicking.
I have added the Repeat icon, Drop Shadow etc to my toolbar and use the
Shift key click for quick results.
