Hello, I am trying to add copyright information to my picture tubes. I have
100's to do so I made a script and wanted to do a batch-process....

The problem is that when I do this, it wrecks all my tubes properties when
the files are over-written.

Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

Can you be a little more specific in regards to "it wrecks all my tubes
properties when the files are over-written"? What what exactly happens to
the tubes? And are these true tubes (PspTube files) or PspImage files which
you call tubes? Can you post a "tube" and the copyright info you want to
add to the tubes? We'd be glad to help, if we understood the problem. Suz

That is going to tough to do with tube files that have more than one image.
Increasingly so if you want to copyright the different images of each tube
file.

DJ originally posted elsewhere - can't remember if it was the Corel
groups or the usenet group - and I suggest he/she post here.
Apparently he (I'll use that designation for now) creates tubes on a
9x9 grid for the most part. He created a script to batch process them
with a watermark. He never stated whether the script put the watermark
on each cell or only on the tube image in PSP as a whole.

His script did give him output, but he says when he applies the tube he
gets all 9 images (3x3 cells) stamped at once.

I suggested that one problem was that he had to have a script that
actually exported the tube (and I could have been wrong but I have been
wrong many times before so what the heck :-) If that is the case, I
also suggested that the script would have to set the cells to his 3x3
grid as well as read the file name of each tube and place it in the
Export Tube filename before saving.

I only provide the above info so that you both have some background
(not provided in this group by the OP) on what has transpired so far,
in case it is helpful.

Regards,

JoeB

Thanks for the clarification, JoeB. I'm not sure this will work at all for
multiple-image tubes. For one thing, even if the copyright information is
applied, it would not be applied to all 9 cells. Of course, that could be
calculated and done, but unless the tubes all contain 9 cells, I'm not sure
it could be done. I don't know offhand any way to determine the number of
cells in a tube from a script. The requestor needs to provide us with more
information if s/he really wants some help. Suz[color=darkred]

DJ did say that most of his tubes (and he has hundreds) contain 9
cells, so a workable script would likely be one that placed the
copyright in each cell. Obviously this type of stuff is way beyond me,
which is why I sent him here. It does sound, however, that it would be
complicated at best.

JoeB

If that is the case it becomes more workable.
