Author Question for making a script
Nicole

2006-08-09, 10:52 pm

I have made a script for Alphabet letters to use in scrapbooking... but my problem is that I have nos choice for the font name, so I have to go inside the script and change manually the name of the font.

What is the correct manner to add this option "choose a font" into the script.

Thanks for your help.

You might want to take a look at the script on my site for making Alphas,
Nicole - it does what you want, I think. You can find it on my Scripts page
here:
http://users.adelphia.net/~suzshook/8scripts.htm

If that doesn't give you what you want, go ahead and post your script - I
can fix it for you. Suz

Suz, just want to say thanks for your tireless effort in creating all the
wonderful scripts that you do! First time I've visited your site and am
amazed! That yarn generator is a humdinger! heheh

Thank you so much!

Wow !!! I'm so happy ... it has been a long time I was searching how to do
that ... it may be simple for you, but not for me ... it works perfectyly
now !!!! It is exactly what I wanted ...
Now to learn how you did that, it would be more simple for me to compare
both script and study what you have done ... I don't know how you say that
in english, but in french we say "visuelle", I am "visuelle" (visual ? I
guess ... lol) it is the best way for me to learn ...
I don't know how to thank you for that ...

Nicole :-)
