Just for fun I recorded (and have attached) a script that might
help. As someone already mentioned, saving and file naming are a
problem when a script is just recorded (and I don't know enough
to hand code them), so this script will require you to browse to
the folder you wish to save the 3 images in and to name them as
you do so.
All it does is duplicate your original image, automatically
resize that to 600x600, and open the jpg optimizer dialogue where
you can then choose whatever settings you want, browse to your
save folder, rename the file and save.
The duplicate image then closes, another duplicate is created
with the canvas resized to 10x12 inches with an inch of white
above and below the original. Again, the jpg optimizer opens for
your input. Once saved as your 10x12 this image also closes and
the File>Save As dialogue opens for you to save your original
pspimage file.
It works here, anyway. :-)

| Hi JoeB,
Thank you for your effort...I tried yours but I got an error message.
-something about the script being for a different version of PSP? I did
a screen shot of the error message...(attached).
I'm using PSP 8.
Thanks so much, anyway

Hi JoeB,
I tried your new script and it did work but the web image produced was
of a lower quality (for lack of a better word) than Suz's script. I had
to set a higher number for the jpeg optimiser and (to get the file size
under 120kb).
Also I have a question:
I usually don't do a jpeg optimiser for my PRNT files. I noticed your
script does this. Is this something I should be doing? Or is that simply
to get the file size smaller to upload etc? I'm going to really show my
ignorance by asking this...but does the jpeg optimizer in any other way
improve the image quality?
I mean heck, I haven't even been doing the unsharp mask thingy 'till I
learned about it yesterday...lol.
Thanks so much,
Dalynn

| Wow! I can see I've opened a whole can of worms...haven't I?(I mean that
in a good, educational way...lol)
I think I'm going to dust off my PSP manual and studyup on these topics
today. I'll probably end up reprinting several of my old scrapbook
layouts now that I have acquired this knowledge.
Thanks tremendously!
