| Howard, I am still having problems with your scripts that add text. As you
recall you got me through one of the scripts by showing me how to edit the
script and re-running. This has occurred with all scripts that I got from
you (purchased) and it is bothersome so I don't use them. Actually I have
tried but have been unsuccessful. If you come up with a fix to those that I
downloaded (complete package) I would really appreciate a fresh download.
Thanks.....Ralph

Ralph,
As you can see from other posts here, there is an issue with PSPX
scripts recording text. I'm trying to get as much information gathered
about the problem so that a) I can approach Corel with an informed
request for a fix in the next update, and b) try to establish the best
workaround until that happens.
Needless to say I will contact everyone who requires an update of my
scripts once that process is complete.
Thanks for your patience.
Rgds,
Howard

Its a problem with PSP ox and its new feature of point and pixel sized text
as originally its pixel size was called points You may find changing the
Resolution of your image to 72 ppi when using a script to add text then
change it back to 200ppi or whatever you use

If that works, then perhaps Howard could find a way to write his
scripts so they will determine the existing ppi, then change the
images ppi to 72, and then restore the original. Whether or not
that can be done, however, I have no idea.

Ah but some times his Exif caption script works and some times it does not.
I know its all to do with points and pixels and Playing about gets me a
result But I cant see how to fix it permanent.
Mind Vector tube can be fun too sometimes the path is not a path and has to
be converted even when I know It should Be a Path. Convulsing is it not

Have you tried not using PSP X? That is a permanent fix.

That's been my approach to date. But for those who do, I think
Trev's advice is just a bit off and the resolution has to be
changed to the screen resolution which, in Windows, is defaulted at
96 ppi rather than 72. I only say this because of something Tim
said in a post at least a month ago about creating same sized text
in v.X as in previous versions, and it's more than likely that my
limited knowledge of this stuff means I'm incorrect. But not being
a v.X user at the moment I have no way of proving whether either
fix will work. It was just a thought.

| I have just run 'Ssoft Copyright' script which is a text script.
I altered the size to 14 and that's exactly what I got.
i.e. size 14 in pixels. I tried it again using 2 different sizes and both
were successful.
Maybe you are discussing a different script writer?

Thanks
